I feel quite privileged to have had the opportunity to offer my support – through my company – to the ones in need, even if it is in small amounts.

I vowed to provide a match-funding – thorough Your Funding Network – to a personal fundraiser that I organized for War Child Holland to provide psycho-social support for children and people of Beirut after the blast on 4th August 2020. One of my former college mates from University College Utrecht who works for UN Women was badly injured during this incident; yet, she used her connections to raise awareness about the people of Beirut and the difficult times through which they were going. She inspired me to mobilize my personal network to raise some funds for one of the organizations I trusted and have worked for before: War Child Holland.

As a loyal alumna of War Child Holland, I ran a Facebook fundraiser and encouraged my network to donate to this cause. Within 36 hours from the beginning of my fundraiser, we raised 119% of the target. It was an uplifting experience and I felt absolutely privileged to have such an opportunity. As a social enterprise, committed to Impact First, Your Funding Network, offered a match-funding for War Child Holland to provide psycho-social support for children and people of #Beirut.
